  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 angel food cake, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 lb strawberries, sliced

Instructions

For the pudding layer:

  • In a large bowl, combine the dry pudding mix and milk. Using a handheld electric mixer, beat for 2 minutes. Set aside.

For the whipped cream:

  • In a separate mixing bowl, add heavy cream, vanilla, and maple syrup. Using a handheld mixer with the whisk attachment, whip the cream mixture on med-high speed until peaks form (about 4 minutes). Set aside.

Assemble the trifle:

  • In a large trifle dish, layer half of your angel food cake across the bottom. Add a layer of strawberry slices. Spread half of the pudding over top. Add a layer of blueberries. Spread a layer of whipped cream. Repeat with another layer of angel food cake, strawberries, pudding, blueberries, and whipped cream. Decoratively garnish the top with extra berries. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 2 days before serving. Enjoy!
