Ingredients

  • 8 oz crab meat
  • 2 tbsp mayo
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning (seasoning includes salt)
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients except for the crab meat and a handful of the shredded cheese (will use later for topping). Stir until well combined.
  • Fold the crab meat in gently, try not to break up crab lumps.
  • Pour mixture into a 9 inch pie dish.
  • Top with remaining cheese, or more if desired. Lightly sprinkle Old Bay seasoning on top of the dip.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or util brown and bubbly.
  • Serve with crackers, toasted baguette, pretzel baguette, or tortilla chips.

Notes

I would not recommend using imitation crab meat for this recipe. Lump crab meat or jumbo lump crab meat is preferred to keep it authentic to Maryland crab dip.
You can find Old Bay seasoning on amazon, if your local grocery store does not carry.
