Below, I’m sharing about the inaugural trip that started this annual tradition of NYC trips. Consider this PART TWO of the series.
If you missed PART ONE, I shared our most recent WINTER IN NYC trip. Part Two though…
…is all about our first CHRISTMAS IN NYC 2022 trip.
Ryan and I took Megabus from Baltimore (White Marsh) to NYC (W 41st St). It’s about a 3.5 hour trip one-way. We then took an uber to our hotel, since we had luggage.
We stayed at the Omni Berkshire Place, in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan. It was located between Madison and Fifth Avenue.
So everywhere we went, we walked past the beautiful St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
As always, the Christmas decorations were stunning.
We of course got all dressed up…
…and caught a show…
This Broadway show was Samuel L. Jackson’s first time to act under the direction of his wife, LaTanya Richardson Jackson!
So good!
It must be said again, Christmas decor in the city is unrivaled.
Our hotel stay came with many perks, compliments of our friends status. My favorite being room service coffee delivered to our doorstep each morning at 6am.
Dream come true. 😊
While we were in the city, we of course did some window shopping…
…and had the most memorable dinner experience at Peter Lugar Steak House in Brooklyn, to which Ryan still talks about three years later.
Something to note about this Peter Lugar location, is that it does not accept credit cards. Only check (w/ ID), debit card, or cash, are accepted. This definitely added to the “old-time” feel of this restaurant.
This is a must-try steakhouse experience.
