Amazon Finds | June 2022

Hello Wednesday!

It’s been about six months since I’ve shared my last round of Amazon finds, so I thought an update on my summer finds was appropriate!

Recently, most of my purchases have been puppy-related, but I’ll share those once we get a little more use out of them and I’m able to form a stronger opinion on each item.

Since it’s swim team season, I stocked up on swim gear for each of the kids. Our go to each summer are these…

…kid’s googles. They are great quality, don’t fall down, leak water in, or fog up. They last a couple seasons (which is summer and winter for my girls), and my kids like the mirrored lenses. My boys just use the silicone straps that they come with, but my girls prefer…

…these bungee cord straps. They’ve both had the original silicone strap break during the middle of a swim meet, so these give them a sense of security! They come in a set of two and in a variety of colors.

With summer, comes lots of BUGS. 😝 And with kids, comes doors constantly left open, creating fly central in my kitchen. So I’ve armed myself with…

…this set of fly swatters. It’s certainly not a glamorous purchase, but necessary and practical. There are some days I mutter to myself about “how fly swatting is a full-time job around here”, as I walk all around my house stalking these annoying pests.

I recently lost my sunglasses pouch (that I LOVED), but needed a quick replacement before we headed out earlier in the month to Napa. I’m happy with this…

this faux leather sunglasses pouch. It has a subtle snakeskin print on one side, giving it a little sass. What I loved most about my lost pouch, was the squeeze top opening, which allowed me to open the pouch with one hand. So I was happy to find this same opening system with my Amazon purchase.

My MOST FAVORITE purchase from Amazon lately, has me super chatty! It has been the perfect solution to impromptu sleepovers with friends or kids sleeping in our room…

…on this memory foam sleeping pad. We have it in “cot” size. It’s super comfortable (3″ thickness), portable, rolls up easily and compact for storing. A few of the unique features include: waterproof cover with non-slip grip on the bottom, which you can remove via zipper and throw in the wash. It’s the best! I plan on order more!

The girls are now wearing women’s sizes, so I’ve thought multiple times about stealing theirs! Which I still may. 😉

We’re off to another graduation! Today, we’ll be celebrating my nephew, Sterling’s, 8th grade graduation. We will officially have TWO high schoolers next year! 😳 Where did the time go?!
