The first thing Noah said to me when I woke him up on his birthday was, “I’m finally a tween!”
How is this possible?! Make it stop!
Noah has been a mama’s boy since the very start. Having my first son was like experiencing having my first baby all over again! I had no idea becoming a boy mom would be such a unique experience, unlike any I’d ever known!
Noah is my homebody buddy, a boy after my own heart…our favorite mom-son bonding is to grab our own book and curl up on the sofa together. THE BEST!
The amount of hours this boy has clocked reading is out of this world. He is famous for “Did you know….?” statements. A few years back I thought to myself, “there’s no way this child knows this piece of information”, and so I started google fact checking him to make sure he wasn’t turning into a liar! He was in fact telling the whole truth, no detail spared. So much so, we played our own made up version of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” one night after dinner, Noah versus the rest of our family. I’m sure you can guess who won. No, we are NOT smarter than a fifth grader, as it turns out.
Noah was born on March 1, and was almost a Leap Year baby! Had I not received an epidural, he most definitely would have been born on February 29. So grateful that was not the case! I would not have liked choosing what day his birthday would be on each year!

Happy Birthday, Noah Allen! We love you so much!
