When we moved to the eastern shore, there wasn’t much that we missed about Annapolis (besides people). However, one of the few things we did sacrifice was the convenience of certain premium grocery and retail stores…such as Trader Joe’s. So even though it’s a 20 minute drive over the bay bridge, I still make a weekly trip to Trader Joe’s.
We have our favorites that make it into my cart year round, but my ultimate favorites lay in their seasonal items! As a norm, I rarely load up my cart with dessert, as we prefer to eat minimal sugar. However, come fall and Christmas, you bet your life that I’m chucking all the Fall and Christmas goodies in the cart!
My family knows to check the big, white basket in our pantry labeled, “Fun Misc”, to find these treats.
Last week, as I was picking up the last few items I needed for Thanksgiving dinner, I was giddy over the fact that Trader Joe’s had their Christmas goodies out, too!
