Walmart Spring Fashion Finds

Happy Friday! Today marks the beginning of our Spring Break! Woohoo!

We have a couple trips planned (one with kids, one without), so I’ll be signing off for all of next week and back on Monday (the 21st). You can follow along with our spring break travels over on Instagram.

Even though it’s supposed to snow where we live on Saturday, I’m already dreaming of warmer days! It’s definitely the season for on-again off-again weather for us Marylanders, but nonetheless, it feels time to bring out the spring pastels and florals!

Truth be told, I had no intention of posting on Walmart finds. It all started when I realized my FAVORITE white v-neck tee from Walmart was starting to wear out (after four years). It is my go-to for traveling (I literally have one outfit that I wear on the plane every time), and it is one of the few items in my closet that remains there all year long. It is the best stand alone tee in warmer months, and perfect for layering under a cozy cardigan in the fall and winter. I could go on and on about this favorite white tee…but back to my Walmart story. So I went online to re-order this tee, just to realize that they no longer carry them anymore. 🥺

Which led to me perusing for a possible substitute I might love just as much from this Walmart brand (Time and Tru). Which led to a Walmart haul, a blog post, and discovery of other Walmart brands that I’m equally impressed with now! I’m super excited to find these, especially now that my girls are entering into women’s sizes, it suits their style without breaking the bank!

I should also mention that I cannot remember the last time I actually went into a store to try on clothes. I mean, it’s probably been years. Instead, I find it super helpful to follow a handful of lifestyle blogs that feature try-ons, and at this point I know what size I need to order, based off of what they ordered. It saves time and energy, and stores have made the return process super simple. So today, I’m passing on my try-ons and hope it helps!

I am officially all set for my spring uniform! Bring on the warmer weather!

First up, transitional sweaters that can be thrown with jeans and sneakers or sandals. In-between outfits where it’s still a tad chilly out.

I’m digging this pale blue top, and rarely can I pass up a good puff sleeve! This sweatshirt is super soft, too!

Now, onto warmer weather tops!

Paired with a jean jacket for chilly mornings…

This tunic is perfect for a petite frame (I’m 5’1″) as a swim coverup. I love the vibrant blue!

I was so impressed by the Walmart brands quality of fabric (not flimsy or see-through), as well as the cut of each piece. Here’s a roundup of spring dresses…

This coral number has my name all over it. It is a corduroy material, so is perfect to transition from winter to sping. I love the hem on this dress and it has the slightest puff sleeve.

This slip dress is such a fun, flirty option for going out! I like that the slit on the leg isn’t too high, making it a modest option when sitting. The neckline is a v-neck camisole style and looks perfect with a jean jacket thrown over the top!

Where has this LBD been all my life?! And at $12? Bring it on! The sweater material allows it to be dressed up, with some heels and statement earrings, or dressed down…

Last, but certainly not least, the item that began my whole Walmart search in the first place… the everyday slub cotton tee. The secret is in the “slub”. I love the lightweight, relaxed style of slub knit tees. What every closet needs…

I got it in black too…
